Exemption card and deduction codes

From the 1st of January 2021 two exception card becomes one. Look here for more information (Information in Norwegian). For the platform, this means that if you use service codes for Tak 2, it will automatically be Frikort Tak 1 that is chosen.

There is an automatic lookup for an exemption card when creating a service order that includes Helfo services. This presupposes that the clinic:

  1. Is connected to NHN (Norwegian Health net).

  2. Uses electronic messages (Norwegian EHR).

  3. The ledger module is activated.

Check if the patient has an exemption card

  1. Create a service order using Helfo services.

  2. If the patient has an exemption card, it will automatically be added (se hvor).

Check for exemption card manually

Clinics that do not use our ledger module,still has the opportunity to check for exemption card manually.

  1. Open the patient card.

  2. Open Deduction code and language.

  3. Click Run exemption card synchronization (se hvor).

  4. If the patient has an exemption card, it will automatically be added under Deductions and you can view the validity period.

Manual sync presupposes that:

  1. The clinic is connected with NHN.

  2. CPA is added to the clinic.

  3. The clinic uses electronic messages (Norwegian EHR).

Other deduction codes

Children under 16 will automatically retrieve the relevant deduction code. When they turn 16, the deduction code is automatically removed.

If the practitioner has the role of phycologist, the deduction code for children under 18 will be available and added automatically where it is relevant. When the child turns 18, the deduction code is automatically removed.

Other deduction codes need to be added manually. When the deduction code is added to the patient card, it will automatically be added to the service order.
